To ensure that these calculations are as accurate as possible, we have compiled the most up-to-date and credible carbon dioxide emissions data. The sources for such data as conversion factors, average electricity usage of commercial buildings, and grid-intensity figures are provided by the US Energy Information Administration, the US Environmental Protection Agency, and other internationally recognized sources.
Please note that this estimate of your footprint, measured in metric tons of carbon dioxide, will not be certified by McDonald Hopkins or any other organization. Although this calculator has the potential to be a reasonable approximation of an organization's footprint, McDonald Hopkins cannot provide any statement attesting to the completeness or accuracy of the final footprint.
