Desktop Support Specialist - Cleveland

McDonald Hopkins is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist with strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills. This individual will be responsible for resolving and escalating incoming technical issues as well as participating in an on-call rotation. Experience working for a law firm is a plus.

Minimum Technical Skills:

2-4+ years of experience with providing local/remote support for desktops/laptops/mobile devices and peripherals

2-4+ years of experience with Windows 10/11 Desktop Operating Systems

2-4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Desktop Applications (Outlook/Word/Excel)

​2-4+ years of experience with basic administration of the following:

  • Active Directory Domain Services
  • Exchange Server 2016 and newer or Exchange Online

Familiarity with the following is a plus:

  • Windows Server 2016 and newer
  • Azure Active Directory/Entra ID
  • Microsoft Intune
  • LAN/WAN concepts
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops/DaaS
  • VMware vSphere 8.x and newer
  • Document Management Systems (iManage)

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated professional
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a face paced environment
  • Can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Education:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a technology related field or equivalent combination of related education and experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift a minimum of forty pounds
