Desktop Support Specialist (Cleveland)

McDonald Hopkins is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team, working out of our Cleveland office. 

Minimum Technical Skills:

  • 2-4+ years of experience with providing local/remote desktop support
  • 2-4+ years of experience with Windows 10/11 Desktop Operating Systems
  • 2-4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 2016+
  • 2-4+ years of experience with basic administration of the following:
    • Active Directory
    • Windows Server 2012 R2/2016+
    • Microsoft Exchange Server 2013/2016+
  • Working knowledge of mobile devices, laptops and desktops
  • Working knowledge of common desktop applications includingMicrosoft Office
  • Working knowledge of client/server printing

Familiarity with the following is a plus:

  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops/DaaS
  • VMware vSphere 6.x/7.x
  • LAN/WAN concepts
  • Document Management Systems (Worldox/iManage)

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated professional
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a face paced environment
  • Can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Education:

Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a technology related field or equivalent combination of related education and experience

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift a minimum of forty pounds
