Dr. Strangelaw (or How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love Trustee Insurance)
McDonald Hopkins' Franklin Malemud will be presenting as part of a panel on "Dr. Strangelaw (or How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love Trustee Insurance)" during this virtual program presented by the Estate Planning Section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
As trusts in estate planning have become commonplace, the incidence of trust litigation has also increased. With the largest wealth transfer in history about to take place in the next several decades, trustees want to insure effective and stress free administration. This presentation will discuss from the attorney perspective the overview of trust litigation exposure and from the broker perspective the process of evaluating and implementing trustee insurance as a tool to hedge against risk.
