News

WEST PALM BEACH — McDonald Hopkins is proud to congratulate Courtney G. Tito, a Member in our West Palm Beach office, on achieving recognition by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified attorney in Health Law (effective August 1, 2021).

Board certification is the Florida Bar’s highest standard for special knowledge, skills and legal proficiency, with just 7% of eligible Florida Bar members certified in one or more of the 27 specialty areas available. Being board certified demonstrates a lawyer’s significant commitment to and experience in a specialty field of law. Board-certified lawyers like Courtney have dedicated themselves to a heightened level of excellence through character, professionalism, ethics, and credibility in the practice of law.

“Courtney being recognized by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified attorney in Health Law is an outstanding achievement that further demonstrates the strength of our national health law practice,” says Richard Cooper, Co-Chair of McDonald Hopkins’ Health Law Practice Group. “Courtney is a key partner in our practice and leads our healthcare audit response team.”

In her practice, in addition to leading McDonald Hopkins healthcare audit response team, Courtney represents clients in the health law industry on matters including reimbursement, contract, corporate, enrollment revocations, payment suspensions, internal investigations, compliance and regulatory, and in responding to federal subpoenas and civil investigative demands.

“Courtney is an expert in health law and a trusted advisor. She is always focused on the best interest of our clients and how best to achieve a client’s desired outcome,” says Elizabeth Sullivan, Co-Chair of McDonald Hopkins’ Health Law Practice Group. “Courtney is also a wonderful colleague. We are proud of her most recent achievement, which is another demonstration of her commitment to excellence in the healthcare space.”
