Crain's Cleveland names Christal Contini and Elizabeth Sullivan to list of 2024 Notable Women in Law

CLEVELAND Crain's Cleveland Business has selected McDonald Hopkins' Christal Contini and Elizabeth Sullivan to its 2024 list of Notable Women in Law.

According to Crain's, the 2024 list recognizes Cleveland-area lawyers who "are making their mark in and out of the courtroom. They’re experts in immigration law, M&A and estate planning. They advise Fortune 500 companies on internal matters, represent clients in litigation and lend their time and expertise to countless nonprofit boards in the region."

Christal Contini is a Member at McDonald Hopkins, serving as Vice Chair of the Business Law Department and Chair of the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. She is also on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Her practice is focused on representing physician practice groups, medical laboratories, behavioral health facilities,  search funds and both strategic buyers and sellers in various types of transactions, including complex mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, leveraged buyouts, distressed acquisitions and dispositions, financings, and investments. 

Elizabeth Sullivan is Chair of McDonald Hopkins' national Healthcare Practice Group and a member of the firm's Board of Directors. She began her legal career in the Healthcare Practice group at McDonald Hopkins and later served as an attorney in the legal department at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation before returning to McDonald Hopkins as a member. Liz has experience providing regulatory, licensing, compliance, reimbursement, contractual, and corporate guidance to clients. She has advised clients on state professional licensure laws, CLIA standards, state laboratory laws, government and private payor reimbursement policies and billing rules, federal and state fraud and abuse rules and regulations, state telehealth laws, and HIPAA rules and regulations.
