McDonald Hopkins welcomes powerhouse attorney Kenneth Suh to its Litigation and Data Privacy team
McDonald Hopkins is proud to welcome Kenneth (Ken) Suh as a Member of the firm’s Litigation Department and its national Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group.
Ken brings over a decade of litigation experience, including in data privacy and intellectual property, with a practice concentrated on litigation and compliance matters surrounding artificial intelligence, data privacy, and intellectual property. He is well-versed in all facets of privacy law and is a trusted advisor to clients navigating today’s complex and rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

Ken has served as lead counsel on more than 100 litigation, regulatory enforcement, and compliance matters. He has also counseled clients before federal courts and administrative agencies, including cases involving the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA) and data breach class actions. He is a go-to resource for clients in the cyber insurance space, like brokers and carriers. Ken previously led a team at a top Lloyd’s of London cyber/tech E&O insurance provider, overseeing a portfolio exceeding $1 billion.
In addition to his legal practice, Ken teaches Artificial Intelligence and the Law as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois Chicago and is also a faculty affiliate with the Institute of Government and Public Affairs, a multi-disciplinary policy institute within the University of Illinois system
