McDonald Hopkins welcomes Monique Waterman to Litigation Department

Monique Waterman has joined McDonald Hopkins LLC as an Associate in the Litigation Department, adding her experience to the firm’s commercial litigation team and construction team.

Waterman focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and general litigation matters covering a variety of legal and business disputes. She has experience advising, negotiating settlements, and developing defense strategies for a broad range of clients. Waterman previously served as an associate attorney at a large defense firm with specific expertise in first-party insurance litigation. In addition, she served as an associate attorney at a smaller firm where she represented hospitals and healthcare providers in overturning wrongful insurance denials.

Waterman earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law and her B.A. from Florida Atlantic University.
