Overview

Trinh is an associate in McDonald Hopkins’ Intellectual Property Department. She has experience providing guidance on all aspects of intellectual property to clients in the software, aeronautic, space, health care, information technology, medical device, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, banking, printing, and automotive industries.

Trinh’s expertise includes patent law, trademark and intellectual property litigation, having done extensive work preparing and prosecuting utility and design patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, counseling clients on global patent protection strategies, conducting prior art searches and patentability analyses, drafting and revising cease and desist letters, and managing all aspects of IP litigation.

Trinh has additional industry experience, having served as the labor relations representative contractor for an international steel manufacturing and mining company for several years prior to the start of her career as an intellectual property attorney. 

Trinh earned a J.D. from Valparaiso University and a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University.
