Overview

Elise Thomas is an associate in the Business Department at McDonald Hopkins and part of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. Elise advises clients in a variety of industries on complex transactional matters, such as mergers, acquisitions, distressed acquisitions and dispositions, and other business transactions. She guides clients throughout the transaction process, with practical experience from beginning to end – from managing due diligence, to raising funds and negotiating financing, to drafting closing documents.

Elise also has experience advising clients on general corporate governance matters, including entity formation and issuance and termination of equity, and on data privacy compliance issues.

Elise earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Chicago.

  • Counselled City Harvest, Inc. in its asset sale of Plentiful, drafted and negotiated main transaction documents and ancillary documents and facilitated the closing process
