Jordan is an Associate in the Business Department at McDonald Hopkins and a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, where she leverages her extensive background in tax and corporate law to guide clients through complex transactions.
Her practice focuses on advising companies through all stages of transformation, including formation, mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures. Jordan is well-versed at leading due diligence projects, ensuring thorough evaluations of financial and legal risks, and drafting a wide range of corporate contracts and governance documents including asset and stock purchase agreements, confidentiality agreements, shareholders’ agreements, letters of intent, by-laws, and more.
Jordan has a strong foundation in tax and corporate law, developed during her time in the accounting industry before joining McDonald Hopkins. There, she gained valuable experience in tax planning, transaction analysis, and handling tax controversies. Her background in tax law enhances her practice, enabling her to conduct in-depth research and analysis of tax laws and regulations to identify strategic opportunities for tax planning and restructuring.
Jordan received a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management from Purdue University.
