Overview

Vito is an Associate attorney in McDonald Hopkins’ Business Department and is also a part of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. His practice focuses on a wide range of general corporate work and private equity transactions.

Vito has represented some of the fastest-growing private equity clients in the Midwest, advising on a broad range of complex transactions and general corporate matters. He has led and coordinated high-value mergers and acquisitions from initial due diligence through closing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with client objectives. His experience includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and other key transactional documents, as well as employment agreements, non-compete provisions, intellectual property assignments, trademark licenses, and confidentiality agreements for portfolio companies, senior executives, and technology and biotech clients.
