McDonald Hopkins' Brad Rinella recognized in Crain’s Cleveland Business 2025 Top 20 in their Twenties

McDonald Hopkins is proud to announce that Crain's Cleveland Business has recognized Brad Rinella in the 2025 20 in their Twenties. This honor is awarded to young professionals who are making a difference in their respective fields and are helping to reflect "a region on the rise," inspiring a positive outlook for the future of the city of Cleveland's business development.

When he graduated from law school, Brad had goals of landed at a business-first law firm that had a direct impact on the city. “Currently, I'm representing a borrower that needs financing to keep them alive, or are looking to expand their business,” he said. “This could be a family-owned or employee-owned company that continues to thrive and improve the community.”

Brad joined McDonald Hopkins' Commercial Finance Group as a full-time associate in 2022. “Brad is a go-getter,” said Jim Stief, McDonald Hopkins Co-President. “Since he started at the firm, he has been eager to learn, grow and develop his practice. Finally, and importantly, Brad has a genuine interest in giving back to the community, something that is extremely important to McDonald Hopkins.”

He is involved with Neighborhood Centers Association and the College Now mentorship program, where he is committed to building a sturdy foundation for Cleveland’s future.

“It’s about more than just closing a transaction,” Brad said. “What effect does this have on the community? It can be a company that created 100 jobs in the area, and I was a small piece of that.”
