Please join us as we host the second in a series of dynamic and engaging conversations with corporate and civic women leaders about today’s business climate. Our speakers will address industry trends, economic outlooks, opportunities for advancement, diversity and inclusion, pathways of leadership, and other topics that shape our working environment.

Our conversation features Catherine Kilbane, Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel at Sherwin Williams. With a flurry of regulations from Washington and increased demands from institutional investors, Cathy will provide her perspective from the board room and discuss trends in corporate governance that companies will likely face in 2016.

Our program will run from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., followed by an hour reception and networking opportunity.

McDonald Hopkins' Todd Baumgartner will be presenting as part of a panel on "Ideas for Succession Planning" at this in person conference presented by MAGNET.

On January 1, 2024, the process of forming a business entity in the U.S. will substantially change when the Corporate Transparency Act goes into effect. The CTA is a U.S. law that requires reporting companies to disclose company information and certain beneficial ownership information to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Mitchell Capp, an Associate in Detroit who focuses primarily on business counseling and litigation, was recently featured in Lawyer Minds, an online publication that profiles lawyers who have built successful law practices, created novel new legal theories, donated thousands of hours to pro bono work and obtained impressive trial results on behalf of their clients.
