McDonald Hopkins' Michelle Kantor, Chair of the firm's Federal and Local Government Contracting & Procurement practice group, is speaking at a webinar hosted by the American Indian Chamber Education Fund and the American Indian Chamber of Commerce California.

Federal small business contractors are now confronted with new severe project impacts which has culminated into a national crisis. These impacts include material and labor shortages, material escalation costs, project suspensions and terminations, all beyond your control.  In addition, new federal vaccine mandates and other government compliance mandates are furiously being issued. Contractors are scrambling to understand compliance and to prepare Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REA) to compensate for Delays, Suspensions, Terminations and Material Escalation Costs. This Workshop will help to demystify various federal government FARS so you can better understand your rights to extra costs and project completion times as well as for contract changes, termination for convenience and Force Majeure events and defenses to delay claims. This session is highly interactive and questions are encouraged.
