The Elite SDVOB Network is holding its next Illinois Chapter meeting on Thursday, October 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m CST at McDonald Hopkins' Chicago office and is co-sponsored by Elite SDVOB Network and McDonald-Hopkins.
Speakers include:
Bo Steiner, District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Bo will be sharing information on the Small Business Mentor Protégé Program, other programs of benefit to the diverse business community, and other key initiatives and updates.
Jim Bader, Director of Procurement and Supplier Diversity at Rivers Casino. Jim has spent the past four years working as the Director of Procurement and Supplier Diversity at Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, IL. He oversees the purchasing, warehouse and wardrobe departments. He will be sharing details on Rivers Casino’s needs and its programs for engagement of Veteran-owned and other diverse companies.
Our host, Michelle Kantor, attorney, McDonald Hopkins is a noted expert on a wide range of legal and business topics that affect Veteran-owned businesses and their partners. Michelle will present updates on legal issues that affect veteran owned businesses, as well as legislative developments.

Our guests will join other business experts, along with your peers, in providing feedback on capabilities presentations delivered by meeting participants. Those of you who have attended recent meetings know what a worthwhile experience this was for our presenters, and we have four slots open for capabilities presentations at our October meeting. The meeting will also offer new members the opportunity to learn more about opportunities available through Elite SDVOB network.
