According to Crain's, this list is one of experienced female attorneys in Northeast Ohio who are leading that charge. From guiding businesses through complex legal matters and regulatory challenges to advocating for families, entrepreneurs, and underserved communities, these accomplished attorneys are shaping a stronger and more resilient region. Their work extends beyond the courtroom and boardroom, strengthening civic institutions, mentoring the next generation and championing meaningful reform.
Maria is a Member who focuses her practice on corporate restructuring, commercial bankruptcy, business counseling, and creditors’ rights matters. As a Member in the firm’s Strategic Advisory and Restructuring Department, she frequently counsels businesses and fiduciaries in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, state or federal receiverships, out-of-court workouts, or other insolvency proceedings and commercial matters.
Karina is a Member in the firm’s Labor and Employment, Litigation, and Executive Compensation and Governance practice groups. Karina’s experience includes representing employers and management in a variety of labor and employment and workplace injury matters, including but not limited to claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, issues involving the Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, National Labor Relations Act, False Claims Act, Title IX, and both federal and state wage and hour statutes.
