Matthew Rechner named a 2023 BTI Client Service All-Star

Matthew Rechner, a Member in McDonald Hopkins' Litigation Department and Chair of the firm's Energy Practice Group, has been named a 2023 Client Service All-Star by The BTI Consulting Group.

The BTI Client Service All-Stars are identified based on more than 350 in-depth, independent interviews and unprompted feedback from top legal decision-makers at large organizations with $700 million or more in revenue. BTI's directory is considered a is the gold standard used by corporate counsel and law firms to identify the attorneys delivering the absolute best levels of client service. 

Rechner's clients cited his quick mind and zealous counsel, along with his industry experience, as some of the many reasons he is considered a Client Service All-Star.

For more than 18 years, Rechner’s practice has centered upon representing natural gas distribution and transmission companies in civil litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States, including lawsuits involving fires and explosions, natural gas leaks, wrongful death and personal injury claims, real and personal property damages, carbon monoxide claims, and environmental claims.

In the course of his representation of natural gas companies, Rechner regularly provides emergency response advice and assistance in connection with natural gas incidents. Rechner’s practice also includes representing energy and natural gas companies in real property and pipeline infrastructure disputes, such as easement appropriation proceedings and right-of-way encroachment and enforcement lawsuits. In addition to his energy litigation experience, Rechneralso represents and advises clients in connection with commercial and business litigation matters, including data privacy and cybersecurity lawsuits.
