Overview

Alex is an Associate in the Litigation Department at McDonald Hopkins with experience advising clients on a wide variety of matters, with a particular focus on litigation. His experience includes drafting appellate briefs, taking and defending depositions, overturning the USPTO’s denial of a company’s trademark application, presenting oral arguments at arbitration and small claims hearings, and negotiating and drafting documents such as by-laws, stockholder agreements, and trademark applications. Alex has also served as corporate counsel for a young corporation since its inception.

Prior to joining McDonald Hopkins, Alex served as an associate in a Cleveland-based law firm.

Alex earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he graduated on the Dean’s Honor List and served as senior editor of the Journal of Law, Technology and the Internet. He graduated cum laude from Kent State University, where he studied Philosophy and English.
