Overview
Caley is an Associate in the Litigation Department and the national Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group. Her practice focuses on assisting clients with cybersecurity incidents, breaches, and responses to state and federal regulatory investigations, primarily by defending cybersecurity and data privacy-related claims.
Caley also has extensive experience advising organizations on compliance with federal and international privacy laws, spanning a wide breadth of industries, including business services, pharmaceuticals, health care and hospitality. She has offered strategic counsel to mitigate risks and help ensure compliance when guiding clients through regulatory investigations.
Caley is committed to delivering cost-effective outcomes through early case assessment and strategic, proactive guidance.
Before entering private practice, Caley served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, where she handled a wide range of complex matters in the juvenile division. In that role, she managed cases from intake through disposition, including screening, conducting intakes, and handling continued custody hearings.
She received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University College of Law, New Orleans, and a Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Art History from Drexel University.
