Overview
Emily is an Associate in McDonald Hopkins’ Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on commercial and general litigation, representing clients across a broad range of industries.
Before joining McDonald Hopkins, Emily gained experience handling complex commercial disputes and class action matters involving business torts, employment matters, supply chain conflicts, and environmental claims. She also served in an in-house legal role for a global property restoration company, where she gained additional experience in real estate and construction matters.
Emily brings a practical, client-focused approach to her work, emphasizing responsiveness, attention to detail, and clear communication. She enjoys the variety litigation offers and values the opportunity to work on cases that span different industries and evolving legal issues.
Emily earned her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, where she was actively involved in the Moot Court program, as well as the Journal of Law in Society. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Michigan.
