McDonald Hopkins welcomes Alec Davidson as associate in the firm’s Cleveland office

CLEVELAND – Alec Davidson has joined McDonald Hopkins LLC in the Cleveland office as an associate in the firm’s Business Department, where his practice will enhance the Commercial Finance, Real Estate and Public Finance Practice Groups.

Davidson earned his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. He is also a 2012 graduate of Michigan State University’s John Madison College. 

During and after his graduation from law school, Davidson worked as a law clerk and associate for Cleveland firms Dinn, Hochman & Potter LLC and Climaco, Wilcox, Peca & Garofoli Co., LPA, gaining experience in commercial real estate and finance matters, REITs, and borrower-side lending transactions for multifamily commercial real estate and construction clients. He also brings public finance experience to the firm, including his work with local government and port authorities on the issuance of bonds for public improvement and economic projects.
