Attorney Ben Bejster joins McDonald Hopkins' Strategic Advisory and Restructuring Department
McDonald Hopkins is pleased to welcome Benjamin Bejster to our Strategic Advisory and Restructuring Department. Ben brings insight on corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency proceedings, as well as strategic advisory matters for clients across various industries.
"I chose McDonald Hopkins because of its reputation in the middle-market space and its ability to foster a collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment," said Ben.
Prior to the start of his legal career, Benjamin worked in digital marketing. He founded a consulting agency that managed over 100 clients, providing services that included creative strategy, digital advertising, SEO and software development.
"I think it’s important to connect with the client’s ultimate mission or purpose. Legal issues are generally only one piece to that puzzle. So, listening to the client and seeing how everything is supposed to come together helps provide more impactful insights."
"The strategic advisory and restructuring team have engaged in all things restructuring across several industries. I’m most excited about tapping into that extensive experience and joining a team that is able to provide a multi-faceted practice at a high level."
Ben earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he served as the Associate and Online Editor of the Indiana Law Journal and was awarded the Sig Beck Award for best written work in bankruptcy law. He earned his Bachelor of Science in philosophy from Bradley University.
