Cleveland Magazine names Teresa Metcalf Beasley as a 2025 'Community Leader of the Year'

McDonald Hopkins is proud to announce that Teresa Metcalf Beasley, chair of the firm’s Public Finance and Public Law Practice Groups, has been named one of Cleveland Magazine’s 2025 'Community Leaders of the Year.'

Teresa has built an illustrious legal career and is equally well known for her deep commitment to the greater Cleveland community, serving on boards for Playhouse Square, DigitalC, University Hospitals, Karamu House, and more.

“It’s always about giving back. It’s about bringing others along and helping others,” she told the outlet.

Teresa’s dedication to service was recognized at Thursday’s 2025 Business Hall of Fame + Community Leader of the Year Awards, where she was honored alongside other regional leaders, including the CEOs of Progressive and Sherwin-Williams and the president of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
