Overview
Jack is a Member in the firm's Business Department with a focus on commercial finance. Jack has experience assisting in the representation of national and local lenders and borrowers in a variety of transactions, including asset-based lending; syndicated loans; structured and mezzanine financing; and acquisition financing.
Before joining McDonald Hopkins in 2021, Jack previously served as a corporate associate at a law firm in Columbus. He advised businesses in all aspects of the Paycheck Protection Program, including eligibility, covered costs and forgiveness.
In addition to commercial finance work, Jack has experience in preparing and negotiating a variety of agreements, including leases, purchase and sale agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. He has written articles for the legal research service Westlaw. He co-authored an article that won “Best Legal Analysis” from the LexBlog Excellence Awards.
Jack earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, he served as staff editor and managing editor of the Ohio State Law Journal and received an Outstanding Managing Editor Award.
Jack completed a B.S. in business administration with a specialization in finance and a minor in English from The Ohio State University, where he graduated cum laude.

- Represented a national banking association in connection with a $36,500,000 asset-based revolving line of credit and $2,500,000 term loan to a distributor of headwear, footwear, and related accessories.
- Represented a national banking association in connection with a $45,000,000 asset-based revolving line of credit provided to a supply chain and technology integrator for the U.S. military involving the assignment of several government contracts through the Federal Assignment of Claims Act.
- Represented a national banking association in connection with a $150,000,000 asset-based revolving line of credit to a metals provider.
- Represented a national banking association that acted as administrative agent in connection with a $325,000,000 syndicated secured revolving credit facility to a metals distributor.
- Represented a national banking association that acted as a co-documentation agent in connection with a $2,000,000,000 syndicated secured revolving credit facility to a home appliance company.
- Represented a private equity-owned aluminum manufacturer in connection with a $10,000,000 secured revolving credit facility and a $14,000,000 term loan facility.
- Represented a private independent asset-based lender in connection with a $30,000,000 secured revolving credit facility to a publicly traded beauty company.
