Overview
David is an Associate in the Business Department at McDonald Hopkins and as a part of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. His practice focuses on transactional and complex commercial deals.
David has experience representing buyers, sellers, lenders, and borrowers in a wide range of healthcare and real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of healthcare facilities and portfolios, as well as secured financing. His experience spans the full deal lifecycle, from due diligence and drafting and negotiating transaction documents to closing and post-closing matters.
His investment in his client's business is shaped by his previous experience as Corporate Counsel for a construction company specializing in residential developments and large-scale commercial remodeling. The position built a strong foundation for his real estate and corporate work, including navigating restructuring, entity formation, leasing, and internal matters.
David earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in marketing and psychology from Roosevelt University.
