Overview
Emma is an Associate in the Litigation Department and the national Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group. Her practice focuses on data privacy litigation, from breaches large and small to alleged violations of privacy and consumer-protection statutes.
She works to create a sustainable, forward-looking privacy strategy for clients that protects both their business and data.
She has developed a strong litigation foundation through both private practice and government experience, with a focus on complex legal research, case strategy, and written advocacy. Her work spans a range of areas, including labor and employment, aviation, and evidentiary issues, and includes preparing memoranda, supporting deposition preparation, and contributing to trial strategy.
She received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During law school, she further strengthened her advocacy and writing skills through Moot Court and as a member of the Loyola Law Journal, and gained valuable courtroom exposure as an intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois.
