Overview

Gregory is a Member in the firm’s Business Department and Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, where he advises clients on complex business transactions and day-to-day operations. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate restructurings, and governance matters. He represents both sell-side and buy-side clients across a range of industries, with a particular niche in advising financial advisory and wealth management firms on internal succession planning, as well as external acquisitions and sales.

He works closely with businesses at every stage of growth, providing practical guidance on entity formation, structuring, contract negotiation, and strategic planning. He regularly leads transactions from initial deal structuring through closing, drafting and negotiating key agreements along the way.

In addition, Gregory serves as a trusted outside advisor to companies across industries, counseling on operational, commercial, and compliance matters. Known for his responsive and solutions-oriented approach, he helps clients navigate fast-moving and high-stakes business decisions with confidence.

He received his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio University.

  • Served as sell-side counsel in the representation of a wealth management fi rm in a sale of equity to a national financial advisory services firm (RIA and broker-dealer) for $17,700,000
  • Represented a family-owned ready-mix business in the acquisition of a supplier of ready-mix concrete for $2,895,000
  • Represented a financial advisory/wealth management firm in a sale of assets to an independent financial services firm for $13,443,263
  • Served as buy-side counsel in the asset purchase of a financial advisory services business for $1,415,670
