Overview

Sarah is an Associate in McDonald Hopkins’ Litigation Department. She focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes.

With experience spanning from pre-litigation counseling to trial, Sarah has been involved in matters involving commercial contract disputes, defective products, shareholder disputes, and other high-stakes litigation. She is skilled in drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and coverage opinions; managing electronic and traditional discovery; and negotiating resolutions that align with her clients' business goals.

Before joining the firm, Sarah practiced at both regional and national law firms, where she played a key role on litigation teams handling insurance recovery cases ranging from modest disputes to multimillion-dollar matters. Notably, she served as a member of the trial team that secured a $30 million jury verdict in a commercial contract and breach of warranty case in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Sarah earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law. She holds a master’s degree from Kent State University and a bachelor’s degree from Miami University.
