McDonald Hopkins attorneys honored in Maryland's list of Super Lawyers and Rising Stars of 2026
Two McDonald Hopkins attorneys have made Maryland's 2026 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars list.
Kathryn Doran has been selected as one of this year's Super Lawyers.
Kathryn is a Member in the Business Department at McDonald Hopkins and part of the Firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. Her practice is focused on representing companies across a broad range of industries in various types of domestic and international transactions. She also represents companies and investors in venture capital and angel investment transactions with companies from a wide range of industries at various stages of growth. Her experience includes representing clients in the negotiation and implementation of institutional financing and commercial loan transactions with large institutional lenders.
Kelly Campbell has been selected as a Maryland Rising Star. Super Lawyers gives this honor to no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state.
Kelly is Counsel in the firm’s national Data Privacy and Cybersecurity team. Her practice focuses on advising clients in a wide variety of industries on addressing data privacy and cybersecurity incidents in compliance with state, federal and international laws. Her work includes assisting companies with the investigation of security incidents, messaging and public communications surrounding the incident, compliance with breach notification obligations, and post-breach responses. Kelly also provides clients with proactive, pre-breach services that focus on protecting personal, sensitive and confidential information and minimizing the risk of a data privacy incident.
