McDonald Hopkins welcomes back attorney Lisa S. Lauer to its Executive Compensation and Corporate Governance team
McDonald Hopkins is proud to announce the addition of attorney Lisa Lauer as a Member in the firm’s Business Department and a part of the highly acclaimed Executive Compensation and Corporate Governance Practice Group.
Lisa previously worked at McDonald Hopkins from 2009 to 2019 and is returning after several years serving in-house, where she gained valuable insight into the business needs of corporate clients. She said the decision to return to McDonald Hopkins was driven by the dynamic growth of the firm’s Executive Compensation team.
“I returned to McDonald Hopkins to join a sophisticated executive compensation team, working on cutting-edge transactional matters,” Lisa said. “It’s exciting to be back with my colleagues, where innovative thinking and collaborative, client-first solutions are at the forefront.”
Lisa brings a rare blend of in-house insight and private practice precision. With over a decade of experience leading complex transactions and advising boards, she’s known for navigating the full deal lifecycle. Her background includes drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, managing corporate governance for large entity structures, and supporting spin-offs and other high-level corporate initiatives.
She rejoins McDonald Hopkins after senior legal roles at Holcim, Horizon Global, and Beaumont Health, where she led high-stakes deals and cross-functional teams across industries.
